AFCAT Exam ( AFCAT Exam): This examination is being conducted by the IAF General Admission Examination for recruitment of eligible candidates for the Small Service Commission and the Standing Commission in Indian Air Force Services. Except for NDA and CDS candidates in the Indian Air Force, all recruitments are done by AFCAT Exam. This examination is usually held twice a year in February and August. Its applications are issued in June and December.
AFCAT Post Exam: Candidates for Flying, Technical and Ground Department are selected from the three airports of Indian Air Force, through this examination. Candidates are classified for other small departments after the Ground duty difference selection is as follows.
- Flying Department
- Technical Department & Technical- Mechanical & Electronic
- Ground duty department (non-tech) Non-technical governance management, logistics, account book and education
Eligibility, age limit and test are different for each of the above positions.
